Join The Ali Forney Center for #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of giving and unity that will take place on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.
Many LGBTQ homeless youths at The Ali Forney Center have lost their jobs, and their schools are closed because of the pandemic. Now that most other agencies are shut down, young people are relying on us to provide the support they need in all areas.
There are many ways you can change the lives of LGBTQ homeless youths. We understand this is a tough time with financial uncertainty for many of us. If you're in a position to give, please consider making a life-saving gift to support the work of The Ali Forney Center.
If you're able to make a gift, please help us reach our goal of $50,000 on #GivingTuesdayNow, which will feed LGBTQ homeless youth and provide basic care needs for them.
We encourage you to create a Facebook Fundraiser for AFC to help us reach our goal that will change the lives of LGBTQ homeless young people.
You can also create a video for our young people to let them know that they are loved, worthy of care, and that we are their family. Join the We Are Family Campaign by going to the website or emailing Jase Cannon at email@example.com.
Please save the date and spread the word with your friends and family by sharing this event.
